Leftover Chili Muffin Tin Pies With Pistou Salad
With the leftover chili from last night G & I made little pies in a muffin tin. Pre-made shortcrust pastry.
I’d made a 3 ingredient pistou earlier in the day as I had a huge amount of basil to use (basil, olive oil & garlic - well salt too). I made a simple salad and dressed it with a small amount of the pistou.
Everyone loved the pies. Feels like we’ve had a carby weekend though.
L also made two loaves of bread today (a spiced fruit bread and a many seeded sourdough), so the week may continue in the same vein.
