A simple vintage cheddar & onion tart with a salad.

For the salad I started by reading this:

then went right off script.

Bacon, apple (including lemon juice tip, which was great, it did not go brown!), a mix of leaves, some balsamic, olive oil, and some lemon & coriander hummous that we had to add some body.

Was all pretty yummy. G and L seemed pretty happy.
