Lamb Kleftiko
I made lamb kleftiko today.
I had acquired a half-leg of lamb, and while I’ve made various slow cooked Greek-style lambs before, I read a few recipes. In particular I liked this:

For a traditional Greek take.
In the end though, I basically followed this:

I forgot the cinnamon (no particular loss), and didn’t cook as much potato (there are only 3 of us!). I also ignored the yoghurt (it isn’t my thing), and made a slightly simpler salad, for all that G would love a proper Greek salad (he’d betotally into olives and feta in a salad).
All in all it was super easy, as long as you’re hanging around the house anyway (2020 things..). Simple marinate overnight, whack in the oven for ages. I have a great roasting pan for these sorts of cooks too.
The whole thing went well, although in the end G decided the lemons were a little too lemony.. Oh well, what can you do. L seemed very happy.
