Dumplings and Bao
I wasn’t feeling great this afternoon, so wasn’t up to putting some effort in to dinner properly.
I steamed some frozen bao, hoisin duck flavoured, which werepretty decent, and G loved them.
I also heated up some frozen edamame, and boiled some frozen lamb & leek dumplings while the bao steamed.
I really like the lamb & leek dumplings, and G actually happily ate the edamame tonight which was good, he wasn’t enthusiastic last time I did them.
I quite like having some dumplings & bao around for such as occasion (or weekend lunches), so nearly always pick up some and some lap cheong when I’m in Chinatown (my regular grocery shops have comparitively crap options).
