Roast Chook

A simple roast chicken dinner. Threw a whole bird in the oven for 90 minutes, turning it once. Came out great.

I made a simple salad to go with it.

L loves roast chook. G tolerates it and didn’t eat much. For some reason he has an issue (texture, we think) with chicken skin, which is half the fun of a whole chook. I guess I should make a simple gravy or something to go with it, but with a moist chook we tend not to bother.

We’ve now got a fridge full of leftovers, as I made a heap of pasta last night too, so maybe leftovers for dinner tomorrow.
