Lamb Kofta and Salad

After a carby week I wanted to have a few meals of protein + salad, so I went down to my local butcher and stocked up on some meat. We had a busy afternoon planned so I also wanted something super easy for this evening and while I was thinking Toulouse Sausages walking in, some good looking Lamb Kofta / Kebabs caught my eye and we went with that.

I overcooked them, 30 minutes @ 190c was too long, and I probably should have gone 22 mins or so - they dropped a lot of their fat and were a bit dry, but tasty none-the-less.

Paired with a simple salad of mixed leaves & tomato with balsamic and olive oil.

G didn’t seem that enamoured, but he’d had a big day of Halloween functions & lollies, so before even starting said his tummy felt bad (it was our last day of school before Halloween - holidays for a fortnight now). L seemed to like it, but like me noticed that I’d made them drop all their fat :(

I spent a fair bit at the butcher, so yummy meats for the next few nights.
