So I bought a smoked gammon knuckle at the butchers last week.
L had bought some breaded fish the other day (because she likes her fish, G eats breaded fish, and I don’t cook it enough I think).
I made braised Ox-tail and leek tonight. I read a bunch of recipes, but ultimately went pretty simple, not that different to when I last cooked beef short ribs.
I’ve been under the weather today, so didn’t get to braise my oxtails (I didn’t get out of bed until it was about time to start!
I went to my butcher today and picked up a few interesting things.
A simple roast chicken dinner. Threw a whole bird in the oven for 90 minutes, turning it once.
Not really bolognese at all, but just threw together a quick hearty pasta dish for rainy (starting to get cold) night.
On Saturday I made Greek-style lamb leg, with yummy potatoes.
Simple Chicken Thigh Salad tonight, like I’ve made many times before, including 20 days ago.
L made some sourdough crackers today, so I made a classic basil pesto again today.
